HomeSpot provides advertisers in the Home and Garden, Home Decor, and Home Improvement industries a unique opportunity to position their products and services to homeowners who are registered users of HomeSpot.

Because we only present advertising within the HomeSpot Home Management application, we are able to create highly targeted advertising contexts and locations. HomeSpot users provide information about their homes, as well as their intentions for home improvement and maintenance projects.

Description Ads are shown throughout all HomeSpot application pages. Ads are shown on pages related to Home Improvement Projects, and may be further targeted to specific project types (such as replacing kitchen countertops or painting a room.) Ads are shown on pages related to specific Spaces or rooms in the home, such as Kitchen, Yard or Garden, and Living Room.

HomeSpot users may add a Project to a Space in their home using a pre-defined Project templates. These Project Templates provide highly targeting advertising context for product and service providers. Sample project templates include:

  • Refinish hardwood floors
  • Replace a faucet or fixture.

  • Space Details
HomeSpot users may add a Space to their HomeSpot profile by selecting from common rooms around the house. These Space Types provide highly targeted advertising opportunities to providers who specialize in products or services for distinct areas in the home. Sample Space Types include:

  • Garage

  • Narrow Banner (468x60)
  • Wide Banner (768x60)
Ad Placement Ads are placed alongside user content. Skyscraper ads occupy a right-hand column. Banner ads are located below content.
