You Don’t Need the Most Expensive System

It’s possible to protect your home by leaving the lights on. You already knew that because you do it already, but it goes to show that you don’t need the most expensive system in the world in order to keep burglars outside. A fancy alarm system with extra features will obviously be a better choice, but ultimately you should go with what you can afford.

The Police Won’t be Listening

If a burglar breaks into your home in the middle of the night your alarm won’t be causing police officers in the local station to jump out of their seats. That is because they won’t even know the alarm has been triggered. You or your neighbor will still need to make a phone call. Don’t think you can hide under the bed and wait to be rescued if you get woken up by an alarm in the middle of the night. Make sure the system you purchase has a feature to automatically notify the authorities.
