Amazing Nightstand Makeover

For the feet, I used leftover chunks of the 1×4 molding and cut the two front pieces on a 22 1/2 degree angle to give the new feet some visual interest.  They are cut to run from the base of the bottom shelf to 1 ½” below the base of the trim.  They sit inside the outer edge of the night table.  To bring them out to the edge and make them look incorporated into the night table, I added another chunk of 1×4 that runs from the base of the trim to the base of the new foot and nailed them together.
