So what was the final cost of my swing? The headboard was $10, the cushions were around $50, and the materials to make the swing were close to $50. So, I got my back porch swing for $110. What a deal!
Once my swing was done, I was in the mood to decorate!
I wanted something different… of course!
I decided to make a garland to go around the large oak tree that comes up out of the center of our patio.
I grabbed four mason jars…
…and painted them with different colors of chalk paint that matched the colors of the swing. Next, I grabbed some antique light bulbs and tied on some little burlap flowers to the top.
