Decor Tips: Making Mismatched Furniture Work

I began my makeover by scouring yard sales and online classifieds for pieces that I loved.  I wanted an oval table with a pedestal base, Windsor style chairs, a hutch, a chandelier and one other piece to fill an empty corner of the dining room.

Here is the dining room table ($50) and chairs ($40) that I found.
