Easy Pumpkin Carving Project For Procrastinators

 If you’re like me, you wait to the last minute to hang Christmas lights, decorate Easter eggs, and carve up pumpkins for Halloween. This year I decided to go the quick and easy route to make sure that venerable orange decoration adorned my porch.

Cut and Gutted

As per usual, start by cutting the top off the pumpkin. I find a bread knife to work the best. Make sure the hole is big enough to put your arm through.

Start pulling out all the “guts” and placing it in a bowl. Separate out the seeds as you go if you like to use them for recipes. Finish up this step by scraping the inner surface with a spoon and disposing of the peelings.
