Sometimes all it takes is a little creativity and a few supplies to you make over a plain piece of furniture to something more attractive.
Supplies: 
- Brown and off white flat wall paint
- Walnut water based stain
- Good quality paint brush
- Ratty chip brush (for the faux painting)
- Sanding block
- Hammer
- Finish nails
- Scrap anaglypta wallpaper
- Wood trim for crown
- Miter box and saw or power miter saw for cutting trim
- Tape measure
- Damp cloth
- Painters tape
- Paper towels
- Utility knife
- Satin water based poly (Optional)
