How to Tint Mason Jars Different Colors
There are hundreds of mason projects out there and being able to tint them different colors opens up the possibilities even more. Adding coloring is an easy DIY projects and is pretty cheap. Buy mod podge, mod podge sealer, and food coloring. Gather the jars you plan to color and plan for about 15 minutes to complete the first step.
Mix the Color and Glue
Dump mod podge in the jar until it is about half an inch high. Then add 4-5 drops of food coloring. Mix combinations of the primary colors to get different colors (e.g. yellow and blue to get green). Mix the drops in until the color is uniform.
