Cutting Pattern Pieces:
If you feel more comfortable, or are making more than one pillow, you might want to make a pattern. Personally, I think it’s worth the time. The photo on the right shows both pattern pieces needed. Use the examples on the previous page to figure sizes. The Back Piece also shows where the fold lines are for the hems. They are half an inch each. Use a plate or drafting compass to draw the curved corners.
Once the pieces are cut out, fold and sew the hems on each of the back pieces. Fold twice, sew once.
