Plan
Finding your paint color can be a challenge as their are so many to chose from. To help give you some ideas, look online, visit your local paint store, review magazines, ask a friend or neighbor. Be sure the color you pick will match well with other elements in your room, such as the linens, if this is bedroom, the window drapes, flooring, and other furnishings. Often it helps to bring a few paint swatches home ahead of time to see what would look the best on your walls. Your paint store can help you
determine how much paint you will need to purchase based upon the size of the room. Before heading to the paint store, measure the length, width, and height of each wall. Along with the paint you will also need several other item before you start. They include: something to cover the floor (tarp, old bed sheets, plastic), spackle, putty knife, sanding block, small flat head scree driver, paint can lid opener, paint brushes, masking tape, roller handles, roller covers, and a roller pan.
