For the cushions and pillows you have the choice of purchasing ready made or making your own. We chose to purchase some thick foam from a fabric store and make our own cushion for the seat area and finished things out with some coordinating pillows.

If you decide to make your own seat cushion, you can sculpt the foam with an electric carving knife or bandsaw. We actually use our woodshop’s bandsaw to cut foam to size… cuts like butter.

We hope you enjoy this project as much as we did! It looks great indoors or out, and it’ll last a lifetime.
