First time we have ever had to use an exterminator but was very pleased with Jelco, their professionalism and friendliness in getting in there and checking out our problem; also, they showed up on the dot the moment they said they would, which is a huge kudos in my book, where other services will have you waiting for 1 hour or more. I would highly recommend them for your “buggy” needs.
Called to get an estimate on a heat treatment, the gentleman who answered the phone was not the most pleasant person to interact with, he sounded as if it were 5PM exactly and he needed get the heck out of dodge…Most people calling to get estimates and information would like ACTUAL INFORMATION because well WE DO NOT KNOW. You shouldn’t interact with people who have a problem and treat them like we should know how to fix the issues. Given the interaction over the phone with him, I wouldn’t allow any of my family or myself to ever hire them.
Also, a quick Google search will show that the 5 Star rating indicated on Google is that of a family member of the company unfortunately, not a unbiased client opinion.
They are very knowledgeable and explain their services where you can understand. They do it all from ants to bed bugs so don’t hesitate to give them a call! They are able to work with any schedule and even have payment palns for some services! Even if your not sure if you have a problem give them a call and they will be more then happy to assess the situation. Great experience! Great service!
They went above and beyond, while taking care of my issues. Very nicely priced as well. I certainly hope we don’t have anymore issues, but if we do I’d definitely call them back.
Called and made arrangements for them to come and check for termites after a house inspector said we had a small infestation. An appointment was made for 3 days later, a Thursday, at 11. My husband waited. And waited. Two hours later I tried calling. I couldn’t leave a message because the voice mail box was full. I tried a couple more times and gave up. I then called Bug-A-Way Pest Control in Joplin, MO. The OWNER himself came out within two hours of my call and helped us decide how best to treat our house. We chose the Sentricon option. Bug-A-Way is the only certified pest control company in the area to offer this. THAT is the company who deserves your business, NOT Jel-joke.
