No longer Brown. Acquired by American Pest. Called, got transferred to 3 people. Was told my application (Carpenter Bees) would be a branch manager convo. Never called me back. Too bad as I previously liked working with Brown but the giant gobbled them up and service seems to have taken a hit.
Each time Aaron inspects our property we are impressed by his thoroughness and explanations. There is no pressure to treat if there are no indications. His honesty is refreshing.
As a customer for many years, when I needed them most, they failed to come! Aaron was nice but Amanda was horrible! She couldn’t care less that we had a problem. We had thousands of dollars of damage to our house even though they were our pest control company for years. I’m not one to sue, so I haven’t, but wanted to warn others out there and let you make up your mind whether you want this to happen to you too!
Brown has come to our house twice over three years to inspect for what we thought we were larger problems with 1) roaches 2) termites. Both times a very friendly and knowledgeable inspector came out, carefully inspected for thirty minutes and explained how we really didn’t have an issue that needed their services and that we could handle it through easy preventative steps. Most companies would sell you on their product, they gave us an honest answer free of charge. I will be calling them again if we ever do have a real issue!
My family contracted this company to deal with the wasp issue we have at our Charlottesville home 4 times a year. Yet the issue not only persists, they also treat us like they could care less about our business or our home.
My husband who is allergic was stung this last weekend because they failed to discover the wasp nest next by our side door. Our nanny was also stung the next day. We called them for emergency services, they said they would be over to check it out in 24 hours. They failed to show up for 5 days. 5 days of no one showing and no phone calls or emails to let us know why they are not showing up. We called repeatedly and got no response. When we finally reached them, the lady on the phone said she is not the one responsible for our account and we need to call back when the “other lady” is back. We call back, the “other lady” says she is not responsible and we should talk to the lady we spoke to before. The back and forth during these calls, the lack of service, and the lack of communication made us realize they do not care about our business. Therefore we terminated our contract. Good luck to everyone else using them.
