When selling our house a termite inspection was required for the buyer. A couple of the Longs guys came through and haphazardly looked around the exterior of the property. We were informed that we had termite activity and an $850 treatment would be necessary. The employees could not and would not show us any proof of activity. The report of termite activity to the buyer required us to treat. We contracted another company that did a thorough inspection. No evidence of termites whatsoever. We had the home treated to satisfy the buyer. I have heard other folks having similar stories with Longs. Watch out folks!

We called Long’s for a water test that needed to be done prior to us purchasing our home. We found out this test was needed very last minute and we called their office to see if they could accommodate. We were a good distance from their regular service area, however they agreed to do it if we couldn’t find anyone else. Long story short we were not able to find anyone else so I left the office a message Saturday evening and they returned my call promptly much to my surprise. They agreed to come out and perform the water test for us the next day. This company went above and beyond to help us. What a refreshing experience we had with Long’s, and that seems to be a rarity this day and time.
This company provides excellent communication, great customer service, and most important they do what they say. I highly recommend to anyone in need of the services they provide. Thank you for helping us on such short notice.
