We have used Orkin for years, including treating our house for termites, and had been pretty satisfied. However, recently, I had Orkin come out because I thought I heard scratching in the attic. We thought maybe we had a squirrel get in. Long story short, Orkin told us the dropping in our garage were from rats when they were actually from lizards. He told us we had double-digit rats in our attic. There were no droppings, no smell, and no disruption of the installation. He gave us an estimate of 11k to remove the installation and refill with special pest repellant installation. I told him we would get a second opinion. He then said he could ask his manager to give us a 10% discount since we had been good customers. I again said we would get a second opinion. We not only got a second opinion but a third opinion, and both said there was absolutely no indication of any rodent activity at all. NONE! After multiple attempts to contact the general manager at the Evansville, IN office about this issue and requesting our monthly pest service be canceled, we have not received a call. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ORKIN. THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM! Both companies told us Orkin is known for doing this scam. Our next step is the Better Business Bureau and Attorney General!

My first experience with orkin wasn’t greatest due to a rude tech coming to my home. But the branch manager came down a evaluated my home and found none of the issues the prior tech claimed and the manager treated my house and we had a wonderful experience with him.
