This is the best plumbing company and individual plumber (Jeff) that I’ve ever worked with. That’s saying a lot because I’ve lived in multiple states and have been a homeowner for 20+ years.
Jeff started by thanking ME for the opportunity to do work on our house; I’ve never had a company say that before.
Next, he came out for one issue (leaky water shutoff valve) and discovered we had a 40yr old water pressure regulator installed. The pressure was ~75% higher than what it should have been. It was a great catch. I’m sure he saved me from having future leaks etc.
He also gave me a crash course in how to use and maintain my electric water heater. I’d only ever used gas ones, so I wasn’t sure what all I needed to know about this electric one. For no extra charge, he gave me tons of advice about it. And I was confident in his honesty, because he said it’s in great shape, nothing on it needs fixed.
Once Jeff did the work outside, he called and left a detailed voicemail about what he’d done. And it was all documented in pictures that he emailed to me for my records.
He also put on shoe coverings when walking through my house. I’ve worked with plenty of companies who don’t pay attention to little details like that, so their conscientiousness was appreciated..
I am new to the area and am so thankful I found Jeff and Tennessee Standard. They are an answer to prayer. I will go back to them for any future plumbing issues.
