Ramiro and Jason came out to fix two issues that were stressing me out. ive been using aaa auger for years now and ramiro / jason will be my go to plumbers (since big fred has left AAA auger). both dudes were excellent and both dudes knew what they were doing – expensive but very fair pricing. they found a copper pipe leak in my ceiling and fixed it and fixed a hose bib outside. 5*. aaa auger please give my guys a bonus. they came to my home in north dallas.
Used them for years despite shoddy work. They used to be local and now they are NOT. Experienced a random cancellation for work today and started getting weird questionable calls from the company the day BEFORE the scheduled day. The call was for previous work their “master plumber” refused to perform. I try to give folks the chance and try not to leave negative reviews but these folks suck so much it was difficult not to. The work we had done a year ago started leaking immediately! The previous plumber that worked for AAA about the company complained all through the job. This place is an amazing example of unprofessionally run company. DO NOT USE!!!!~response to response: no, you didn’t call. Your local location is closed, you yourself said so and so what does all this mean?
$1087 for a small repair. The tech himself said it would take 30 or 40 minutes to fix. Got a notification at 12:57pm the driver was heading my way. Didn’t show up until 2:30pm. Poor communication, worse pricing. What an absolute rip off. Don’t waste your time.
Found a smaller company who is doing the same job for $275.
You be sorry, they show up and wants you to say what diagnoses or tests you want to run and pay first . Asked them you are
not going to investigate or find out what perhaps could be the issue and recommend an appropriate treatment or test.
They run all over and just to collect on location fees without doing anything. The man comes turn on the sink water and then says oh random sewerage smells okay pay first by credit card now and It cost $989.00 then I say what is that test for finding leaky? So you are not going to check under the crawl space and see if there is a leak? He says no. I said sorry no need. STAY AWAY
Long Overdue Review for AAA Auger Plumbing Services —
On December 12, 2024, my Rinnai tankless water heater started producing hot water with a two-minute delay and displayed error code 63. I hired an authorized Rinnai Pro shop to inspect it. The technician informed me that the heat exchanger might need to be replaced, which might not worth the cost. Instead, he recommended installing a different brand of tankless water heater.
Frustrated with the ongoing issues, I agreed to proceed with the installation two days later. However, that evening, I began to feel uneasy about the situation. I decided to cancel the job and seek a second opinion. The next morning, AAA Auger Plumbing Services arrived within an hour of my call. I met with Master plumber Trent and explained that I had already cleaned the inline filter and descaled the system, but error code 63 persisted. Trent proceeded to check the bypass filter and pump, discovering that the filter was extremely dirty and broken. I had not been aware of the bypass filter since the system was installed. Since I was heading out of town and wouldn’t receive the replacement part for 10 days, Trent and I agreed that I could install the bypass filter myself when I returned. When I offered to pay for the service, Trent kindly refused to charge me. On Christmas Day, I installed the $3 filter, and the hot water returned instantly – error code 63 was gone. Out of curiosity, I asked Trent for a quote on the new system the other company had tried to sell me. His quote was professionally prepared and approximately 30% cheaper. From now on, AAA Auger Plumbing Services will be the plumber for both me and my daughter. Thank you for running such an honest and professional business.
