Ayotte did an excellent job with setting up a new AC and Furnace. They were on time, professional and quick in completion while making sure to check their work before leaving. Went above expectations (replacement of sub-pump and additional pipe work). Will continue to request their services as I have been recently such as the last cold snap when I had frozen pipes and furnace issues with the igniter. Thanks!
We had a AC compressor and blower replaced by Ayotte Plumbing last summer around July and we are still trying to resolve problems with the installation of the new units. At a cost of over $9,000, we didn’t expect the problems ahead. At first it started with one of the HVAC professionals that had issues with the initial wiring of the unit from the compressor to the blower and the computer in our house, causing the Heat Pump to turn on when it should have been AC (I was told he no longer worked there shortly after this issue occurred). The electrician they work with is amazing, and he did great work, but it was the HVAC installer that caused the initial issues. At first, they told us our computer was at fault and new baffles needed to be installed. I needed to do my own research to figure out this wasn’t the issue at all. After multiple visits to fix the wiring issues, the blower unit was not draining properly and started leaking into our kitchen ceiling. It has resulted in us calling them back almost immediately after each subsequent visit telling them the blower is still leaking. We have a tin ceiling, so it causes the ceiling tiles to rust and stain, but they are taking action to fix this issue. It took about 7 visits total after finally fixing the leaks in November of 2018, but we weren’t sure since that was the end of the hot weather. I’ve talked to Michelle so many times, and she has been amazing while dealing with my frustrations every time I need to call in and let them know there are more leaks or issues. Last week they stopped by to finally finish up some fixes they put in place since the last visit of 2018 and told us they needed to permanently open both zones to prevent any future leaking. This was unfortunate for us, but we are willing to accept compromises at this point to just consider this project done. Unfortunately a new issue came about where both baffles (or 1) are stuck closed. This caused the unit to run continuously for over 6 hours today, since the vents were closed and not cooling down the house. After investigating why the unit was on for so long, I noticed multiple “blow-outs” in the duct-work, which I assume is because of the massive pressure caused by the closed baffles, so now the duct work is leaking air into out of the duct-work where the blower is.
I tried to refrain from posting this review and gave them countless opportunities to resolve these issues, but it really has come to the breaking point for us. We just want the installation to be done and not have to worry about it anymore.
It was a cold winter night when my heating system broke down on me. Luckily my dad went out and bought some electric heater but I called Ayotte RIGHT AWAY because it said open 24 hours. I told them I had small children and it’s an emergency. Thank goodness they RETURNED my call RIGHT AWAY. Got my heating system checked, it needed to be replaced because the parts wouldn’t be found since it’s a 20 years old system. Dean Ayotte was very professional and nice! We agreed on a price and an ASAP date which was 3 days before Christmas. Got my heating system and inside coil replaced. Eddie and Hunter did a PHENOMENAL JOB! They were both very friendly and thorough about what needed to be done. My husband tells me Eddie seems like a young man but very professional and knows what he was doing. They even cleaned up after what they were doing. The staff at Ayotte are super friendly and helpful. Thank you again Ayotte Plumbing, you guys worked as a team and gave my family and I working heat with energy efficiency. My heating system doesn’t make noises like before. Thank you again, I truly recommend Ayotte to anyone.
I’ve had Ayotte out at my property a few times for a few different jobs. I’ve had a few different of their techs and a few repeats. I’ve personally dealt w/ three different of the owners as well. All knowledgeable in their area, all great to deal with, and all, on the level. I have even contracted them to do two mini split systems. They are Excellent and I would highly recommend them.
Update1( 8/17/21 ): I’ve had Ayotte out to install a pair of large outdoor splits and 8 indoor heads, and to remove a bad natural gas on demand and replace it with an electric fiberglass tank. Let me tell you their quality of work, attention to detail, promptness, fair pricing, and the friendliness of their employees is why I keep going back. These guys are good; Use their services… businesses like this should thrive.
First, I called Ayotte, and Melissa listened to my description of the problem. She told me to send pictures of my current kitchen faucet and appliances that it matched, and she found a replacement faucet that matched perfectly. She sent me pictures of the faucet and included the price before ordering it for me, with my approval. Then, she told me that she would let me know when it was available and schedule an appointment. Melissa was prompt, helpful, and courteous throughout this job, and she did follow through and call me to schedule an appointment when both the faucet and the new garbage disposal had been delivered to Ayotte.
Next, the two plumbers showed up promptly to do the work. They wore masks, stayed right in the immediate area of their work, and did very little talking. They were cooperative, industrious, polite, and neat. I noticed that they interfaced very well with each other when it came to cooperation during their installation of the faucet and garbage disposal, and they worked so efficiently and quietly that one would hardly have known that they were there. They did their very best to minimize any remote possibility of spreading the Covid virus while they carefully answered my questions about the new installations.
Finally, I was delighted with the results of Ayotte’s work and their continued communication throughout this project. I would definitely recommend them!
