Baethke Plumbing was fantastic to work with! When our hot water heater broke they got someone out right away. They were knowledgeable, efficient and the work was top notch. Lou was our tech, super friendly as well! The office staff was so friendly and easy to schedule with, and their automated text updates kept us well informed. Would use them again no question!
I had tried this company first time ,to repair the toilet handle that was loose. and clear sluggish drain. I was given window of time 10am-1pm, which was time I had allocated for the service. Plumber arrived only few min after 1p; and provided me w estimate of only 578$ to repair handle. He informed me that company bills 350$/h, which is about 1/3 more that average area prices(Lincoln Park). Only 2 h later, at 14:50, he had informed me that repair is complete, however, genius reattached it wrong way. Now it was turning to the wall, instead of to me. It was almost 5 h later and had missed appointment I had. To top, genius name William disregarded my request immediately reattach handle proper way, and left without collecting fee.
I would say, if William is company representation, I don’t know how they remain in business. Inflated prices and slow incompetent work.
After most of biz day waste and missing appointment, I still have to find another plumber
Baethke Plumbing provided the best plumbing experience I’ve had to date. Upon initial reach out, the woman I spoke to on the phone was very kind and clear about their costs and process. They provided text notifications throughout, informing me the plumber was on his way. Last and definitely not least, Yuriy the plumber was a consummate professional. He brought his own foot mat, placed covers on his shoes to not track snow, and provided clear and informative guidance on my situation. He was very pleasant to interact with and every question I had was answered. Will definitely be using Baethke Plumbing again.
Billy McMahon with Baethke visited our home. He was very courteous and explained what he was inspecting and provided easily understood explanations of his findings. He was not rushed and took the time to ensure his inspection was thorough. He completed the repair work that needed to be performed in an efficient manner and very soon after the visit he provided quotes of the additional work to be performed. Overall a very satisfying service call.
I happily recommend this company for heating/plumbing services. The employees from customer service, field manger, and service tech were very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and skilled. They were very receptive to correcting the issues we were facing, and although I did not do a price comparison, I feel their charges were very fair considering the amount of work required to replace our water heater and correcting errors made by a competitor. The service tech, Lou, was very skilled, worked very hard, and was very willing to answer all our questions and educate us about the new system. I will definitely contact them again for future checkups and any issues that might arise.
