My experience: the sales rep was aggressive about trying to push some kind of subscription plan where the first visit is very reasonable and follow up visits are more expensive. The required length of the subscription before you owe a cancellation fee was unclear, as it was hard to get that information out of them. I said no to all the recurring treatments and was told I’d get a one time treatment including poison, a hormone disrupting gel, and a spray around the baseboards, and a yard treatment to handle my indoor ant issue for $300. That was less than three months of the subscription plan so I figured that would work.
When the guy actually showed up he sprinkled the yard, which was fine, and then spent ten minutes in the house at most, supposedly hitting every baseboard (he said I had to vacate so I couldn’t see what he did). However, none of furniture and other items along the baseboards had moved when I got back inside. I also couldn’t see any evidence of spray along the baseboards in most rooms where they weren’t covered, just one section of the kitchen and the entry to the bathroom.
As instructed I didn’t clean the floors for a few days and didn’t sweep or leaf blow around the poison outside.
It’s now 11 days later and the ants are back in full force. I called the company and they said there’s no guarantee or reduced price, and the only way to get additional treatments is to subscribe! Great job standing behind your work.
