Jay was amazing to work with. He took pictures of the plumbing underneath the house. These pictures showed what a horrible job Baker Brothers did when they came out a few years ago and “fixed” my plumbing. He explained everything that needed to be done and showed genuine concern. His associate, Travis, was also very helpful! I highly recommend Dallas Plumbing & Air Conditioning for all your plumbing needs.
Dallas Plumbing & Air Conditioning has serviced our Fall and Spring Maintenace for several years. The most recent rep Travis did a great job with testing our compressor that we just paid for a year ago from another company. He was able to detect it and let us know that the compressor went bad.
I only gave 4 stars because they have not showed up a couple times in the past when we booked an appointment without any call or text notice.
Jay came out to do my first annual inspection on my new build home. He was very thorough and explained things to me as he saw them. It was a good experience and I will be following up to make a couple fixes. I would recommend Dallas Plumbing for your plumbing needs.
So far so good! Scheduled a routine water heater check up only to be told that the water heater is too old to safely drain and maintain without potentially causing a leak . The technician pointed out several out dated installation techniques no longer recommended . He was able to demonstrate to me that the sediment level in the tank was too high to get a sample . So in short I need a new water heater, before an unpredictable disaster. He gave me a quote and will wave today’s usual service fee if I install a new heater through them . Gave me a reasonable quote and will follow up next week . I know from experience that Dallas Plumbing is a good company . I have used them before and would highly recommend .
The overall experience with Dallas Plumbing & Air Conditioning for a new HVAC install was very good. Victor was really great to work with, and the 10% discount and extra $1000 off the new unit really made that final difference I needed to be able to afford it. Really appreciate his willingness to answer general questions, too!
Install went well, and they reset the line and insulated it outside like it should be (old one hadn’t been insulated all the way down, and the 2nd line wasn’t next to the other, but that may not have yet been code). The internal unit was larger than its predecessor and they had to remove the door and wooden frame to get it in, which they put back together. Not 100% like it was, but the door still closed, and that’s more than I’d be able to accomplish in less time spent, so no complaints here. Appreciate the effort msde there. It will require some caulking and touch-up painting to help restore the nicer look.
New unit is very quiet compared to the old one, which was naturally going to be noisy as the fan engine and bearings were dying (it was also having some other problems and was 11+ years old). The new one barely runs to put the temperature at the same place as the old one, and I feel like it both dehumidifies and cools quickly for very little effort on its part (this is the high-end unit, and we were coming from a basic). Really like it already.
Overall, I’m very happy. New systems are expensive. Only downside there, but I am happy to have it, have a more efficient system that works really well, and not have to worry about the old one dying on me now.
