You can’t run a small urban farm with leaky spigots! And as much as I wish I had a dishwasher, a functional sink that doesn’t leak works fine!
Daniel’s offered a FANTASTIC experience from start to finish, almost makes me want to have more plumbing issues- almost! Great customer service, easy scheduling, they were early! It was awesome- 10 outta 10 recommend.

I was able to get Daniel’s (Larry specifically) out in less than 24 hours from a Sunday afternoon! Larry explained my options and after agreement, proceeded quickly with the repair/replacement of the hose bib and pipe.
I’ll look to Daniel’s again when I have plumbing issues. Thanks!
I scheduled service with Daniel’s to diagnose and repair a problem with a water softener system. Within a couple of hours, a plumber was at my home working on the problem. This is the third time in 8 years we have had significant problems with a water softener system. The maintenance, repairs, and replacement costs have been extensive. The Daniel’s plumber explained the issue to me and gave me an option to repair the current system or replace it with a new one. He answered all of my questions, explaining the pros and cons of each option, and I never felt pressured. I chose to have them install a new system and he had it done within a couple of hours. We can tell a big difference in the water quality since the new system has been installed and this system has a 25-year warranty, guaranteeing that this is likely the last time we will have to worry about costly repair or replacement issues. The quality of work was top notch. They did things other plumbers had not done including weatherizing the water lines for the system and adding shut off and bypass valves. I’m very satisfied with my experience with them and won’t hesitate to call them again.
We have used Daniel’s for two big issues with our house. The first time was fine. The 2nd time there were a lot of issues. We were without our hvac for 4-5 days in the summer time and they couldn’t get the part. The customer service people I talked to were awful and wouldn’t work with me or call me back. They finally did once I got my husband calling them as well. I said never again.
Which brings us to this week. My mother was having issues with her hvac. Called Daniel’s plumbing. The pros: they showed up quickly. That brings us to the cons: it took them two hrs to diagnose the issues then they wanted 1k. Did I mention my parents are on a fixed income? My mom was smart and asked for a second opinion, this other company fixed it in less than 30 min and charged her less than $300 to fix it. Was Daniel’s really going to charge them an extra $700 to fix it? YEP.
I’d go anywhere else than Daniel’s. You’ll probably pay way less.
A month ago, I sent the below message to Daniel’s asking for a resolution before leaving a bad review here. I received no response. I feel taken advantage of and uncared for, especially after receiving zero response to this serious concern. Would not recommend this service.

Hi Daniel’s Plumbing,
Before leaving a review online, I just wanted to let you know how disappointed I am with the service I received here. I honestly feel scammed, which is never a good feeling to have after having put my trust in your company. Specifically, our water was getting colder and colder every day for the past few months so I scheduled an appointment with your company. I was then charged $210 for a diagnostic test of my water heater, the result of which I was told that I should pay to flush the water heater and if that did no solve the issue, I either needed (1) a new water heater, or (2) a new vent hood, because that was apparently the only issue the plumber could find with the diagnostic. The flush did not solve the issue, so I was then charged for a new hood, which still didn’t solve the issue. I was then told that without a water softener, I could only expect for my water heater to last for roughly 3 years, and thus I was provided quotes for water softeners and new water heaters in the thousands of dollars range. In sum, I had one of your plumbers come over for hours, I paid $1,090, and the result was not only no hot water, but the suggestions that I needed to spend thousands more to ever get hot water again.
Given this, I of course got a second opinion. That plumber came over and in the course of 30 minutes they not only located the issue through the same diagnostic exam but also fixed it. It was not a vent issue and there was no build up requiring a new water heater or water softener; rather, there was simply a valve installation issue inside of the water heater causing the hot water to mix with cold, thus causing us to receive only lukewarm water. The total diagnostic and fix was a total of $400, and we have had scalding water ever since. This plumber also informed me that the city of Austin treats their water and thus you can expect water heaters to last roughly 10+ years even without a softener.
I understand there can be different opinions in service industries, but frankly the fact that this other plumber located and fixed the issue so quickly and at a fraction of the price makes me question Daniel’s business practices and exactly what I was paying for with the $210 diagnostic exam I allegedly received. And how Daniel’s left me feeling as though the only solution was to replace a 4-year old water heater and install a softener is just as upsetting.
