I had an issue with my boiler not turning on. So my sister told me about Hurley and Dave and how they did a fantastic job with installing a new furnace. I gave Hurley and Dave a call, the office booked me an appointment same day and called me for updates when Zack was doing a job at another home. I appreciates the updates and when Zack came, he gave us a breakdown on what he was doing and found the issue quickly. Zack was great with communication, showed us pictures of before and after of our boiler. Zack is the best tech! Thank you Zack for fixing my boiler and having it running again. Had Hurley & David service our gas fired boiler that was installed at least 15 years ago and while I took care of it we knew it needed professional attention. Communication was superb and our technician, Gabriel Lopez was on time, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Truly, could not have asked for a better human being to arrive out our door. I stayed with him the entire time so I could learn what he found and what he did to address problems. Before Gabriel did his magic, the furnace seemed to be working fine. After he was done, it ran so much better; better flame, lower CO ppm, and improved efficiency. Everything was well documented and explained. Could not have been better! Very happy customer!
We recently requested service by this company given their great reviews. While they were prompt and available quickly, their recommendations and provided service cost us hundreds and did not solve what turned out to be a simple problem. We had water leaking near our hot water heater. The technicians noted there was a problem with the pressure. They charged us $833 to replace a pressure valve and flush the tank. Unfortunately, the leaking continued and after a quick google search the problem was quite obvious. A YouTube video told us to use a pressure gauge to check the pressure of the thermal expansion tank. Water instantly started coming out indicating the bladder inside was defective. We replaced it ourselves not wanting to incur additional charges and problem solved! Shame on us for not doing some research first, but given this obvious problem/solution you have to question the skill of these technicians or their honesty.
