Ryan was excellent at every capacity. Very polite. Explained the cost along with available warranty options. Same day replacement of our water heater was done efficiently and clean up met my high standards. He gave directions on turn off valves etc. Great job!! Mary B
While I appreciate the quick response I’m not a fan of how they charge. I did pay it however they don’t charge an hourly rate more a rate per job. Keep in mind this bill is replacing one water valve for a washer. It appears like they charge twice for the same thing which is crazy. The technician/plumber was great but not a fan of their business model. I would check around before you use this company. 1100 for washer valve is insane. Usually that’s roughly anywhere from 150 to 400 max. This was my first and last time using them
Being pretty mechanically inclined, I was able to easily diagnose the problem with my furnace when it quit. The blower motor quit working. So I had Mike Williams come out and diagnose only to find out the blower motor for my unit cost over $4000. With the unit being 18 years old, I decided to finance a new one. This is where I take a bit of an issue. The new furnace unit cost over $15,000 to finance. For that amount of money, I expected a better install. Now granted, the unit works great and I will have twice annually an inspection in the spring and fall.
Where I take issue is with the aesthetics of the install. The first six photos included show how the top and bottom of the unit fit together and how it ties into my existing ductwork. I noticed as they were finished that there was air escaping where the top and bottom pieces fit together. It was simply caulked to stop the airflow escaping, however, for $15K, I would expect the unit itself to fit together properly and not need any caulk or foil tape. I had to point it out, otherwise it would have been left unfinished.
Pics 3, 4, & 5 show how the unit was fitted to my existing ductwork. As you can see, there are some gaps and holes that I expected to be more properly fit together and was told as such by the advisor.
Pics 6 & 7 show the caulking between the top and bottom pieces where air was escaping that I mentioned above.
Pics 8-11 show the return ductwork near the unit. 8 & 9 show gaps that weren’t sealed off. Pics 10 & 11 show where the air filter goes. They had to upgrade to a 20x25x1 filter from my original 16x25x1. I was told I’d get an electrostatic filter, but that didn’t happen. Where I also take issue here is with how this part was constructed. Originally, there was a perfect fitting metal piece that went over the air filter to seal the compartment. In the newly constructed piece, you’ll see that about 3/4” to an inch of the filter sticks out of the return ductwork and a thin magnet was just laid over top of it. I do not feel this is quality craftsmanship and that it should be done properly. I’d also like the electrostatic filter I was promised. Kind of sucks, but I’m financed now and have to pay anyway. Giving 3 stars only because they were very quick in response to my original call. I’d like to see all this made right.
Called on a Saturday and he came right out, price was very reasonable and he did a great job, most professional service I’ve ever had. His name was Layke if you ever wasn’t to request him. We also plan on doing their monthly plan for 2 x a year for them to come out and check and service our heating and water heaters for any needs and discount on any work we need , future plan for water heater removal for sure

Mike Williams Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning responded quickly to my need for “hot water” when my water heater stopped working. Dave Rapps came out the next morning and replaced the water heater the same day. Dave was great, friendly, responsive, clean, explained everything and got the job done quickly and efficiently.
