I give Milltown 2 stars only for the fact that their employees do good work in a timely manner.
However I must warn people who are drawn by their TV or other ads that this company charges outrageously high fees for their work. They also seduce you into buying their service plan. They responded quickly and the only reason I went with them was the urgency I had for them to make the repair. I had a leaking pump driven by a large motor that they had installed in 2018 as a part of the Columbia gas explosion incident. They quickly looked it up on their tablet and quoted me over $2000. I thought it sounded high so I looked up the part on a plumbing supply website that I had used before and found the exact same part for just under $529. I thought that even if they charged 100% profit for the part they were going to charge me $700 for the installation. They had the part in stock so they gave me a choice to have it installed by the employee who sold me the service, but he wouldn’t be available for 3 days, or I could have a different technician install it the next day. That was an easy decision. The technician arrived the next afternoon and installed the pump with no problem in about an hour. So I figure that even at $200 an hour the company walked away with a profit of over$1000 or twice the actual cost.
Needless to say I will never call Milltown again and I give the rest of you the warning “buyer beware”.
Professional staff, great job! A little more than I wanted to pay though…. Eric, Jackson, Mike, Joe, Troy and everyone else all were highly skilled, quick and professional. They all had excellent communication skills and kept my house clean!!! Great job!
Too much expensive. Just install a new pipe line to the fridge charged $819 .
I think the guy that came over want to scam me . He claimed my main water line is little leaking.
He wanted to give a nother quote for replace that also. I want to tell the company that I check that pipe every single time I come to basement. The pipe is totally fine. I suspected the wet water on pipe he just put to scam me.
Nice Try. Normally I have camara in basement but I switch off these couple weeks otherwise I would have evidence to expose the company.
I studied Lowell Technical High School at least I have little knowledge about that. If the company keep doing like that you would lose a lot of customers.
I had some work done on the condo. What I appreciated was the three pricing options given depending how the customer would like the job done. During the course of pricing the job they found some dangerous patches that the previous owner did. The work was done perfectly. The guys were courteous and knowledgeable. I have no complaints. Five star service all the way.
Extremely responsive. Knowledgeable and helpful tech. I had a tenant without heat. Called first thing Monday morning and they sent a tech right out. Other companies told me they couldn’t get there until Thursday. Charlie was my tech and he was extremely knowledgeable, professional and patient. He kept me informed every step of the way and laid out all my options so I could understand. Had another no heat a couple days later and received the same fast professional service.
