We had RJ Kuhn come out to rebuild the inner workings of our system that connects to our yard hydrant. They changed out all the piping, valves, pressure tank, and yard hydrant itself. Before they even started working, they went through the details of how they would do the installation and also cleaned out the whole area where they would be working before they even started. The estimate was solid and reasonable and in the end, they adjusted it down slightly for finishing early. They were professional the entire time. We spoke with Donna and Ruby in the office and they were both very helpful. Rob and Eric are the ones who came out to perform the work–same thing–helpful, considerate, professional. My husband and I were both very pleased. After the work was completed, Eric walked me through the whole system and made sure I didn’t have any additional questions. I would definitely recommend RJ Kuhn again. It was a project that was hanging over our heads for a long time, and I’m glad we finally called to get a quote and I’m so glad we went forward with it.

I called two other plumbers both who said that the blockage could not be rodded out and would require demolition/excavating of my front yard and cost over 5 grand !
RJ Kuhn sent out Leo to our place and he was determined to find the blockage and clear it..
Which he did!! Took him awhile but he did not give up and I’m so so so grateful he saved me from a huge headache and charged a fair price for the amount of time he worked

I recently encountered a sewage back up and called RJ Kuhn requesting an emergency call out. I spoke with Rob who listened to my concerns and advised that Greg was on a call currently and I was next in line. Rob was polite and lent an open ear for someone who was panicking about the situation. Rob reassured me the problem would be fixed and was expecting Greg to be at my house in about 1 hour. As promised, Greg showed up a short time later.
Once Greg got onsite, I explained the situation. He came up with an action plan, explained it to me in detail what he wanted to do and went to work. After nearly 2 hours, Greg managed to punch through the blockage. During the entire time, he was professional, detail oriented, and explained what he was doing every step of the way. He also took care to prevent any messes and thoroughly cleaned up afterward. Greg’s hard work allowed us to go on with daily life until a more suitable time was available to come back to thoroughly route the pipes.
Approximately 1 week later, Greg returned. This time he routed the pipes from the clean out port to the city main line. He allowed me to see the roots in the sewer line and the end result when he completed the job. Once again he was professional and explained what he was doing the entire time…making sure to clean up afterwards. It is comforting to know that Greg truly cares about the customer and enjoys what he does. Greg said that he thought my pipe had sheared slightly and while routing the pipe will fix the problem, it is only temporary since the roots will likely return. He said that he would provide all of the information and video to Rick at the office and I should get a call back with an estimate to replace the pipes. Three hours later, I received call from Rick. Rick stated that although it is not something I need to fix immediately, he confirmed what Greg found and provided an estimate to permanently fix the pipe. It this kind of team work and attention to detail that really stand out to me.
That being said, I would highly recommend RJ Kuhn for your plumbing needs. Their professionalism, experience and attention to detail convinced me that I will never use another plumber. Thank you Rob, Greg and Rick!
