I haven’t met Travis in person, as I was in New Zealand when I heard the water pipe had gone out on my property. The *first* good thing to say about Travis is that he came out the same day to fix it. Upon noting that my pipes are, for some reason, buried six feet deep, he then got an excavator to dig them out – again, the same day. I believe he worked well into the night, and into the dark, in the December cold, to fix my water main. That grit, thoroughness, and commitment is the second thing to note.
Possibly most impressive, the next day, when he was behind on his other work, and no doubt exhausted from the day before, Travis took the time to then chat with me about the health of my pipes generally, what needs to be watched, and what might need to be fixed in the future. I felt educated, and looked-out for, without feeling pressured, and will certainly call on him in the future.
Travis is a highly skilled plumber. We had him do the plumbing in our new home. He did a great job! Super clean work. He was reliable, dependable, and trustworthy. Would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber.
Just had Travis replace an aging water line from road to house. He was able to get the line replaced fast and gave recommendations to winterize the house. Since it’s a seasonal home. Will do business with him again when the need arises. Highly recommend!!
Travis repaired a water leak under our house last winter from our pipes freezing. Also took pictures for me under my house so I could see where the pipes still needed to be wrapped.
Travis Ferris of Special-T Plumbing is the best plumber we’ve ever used in 38 years of home ownership! On the day we moved into our new home in Whatcom county, our water heater started leaking and needed replacement ASAP. Our home inspector recommended Travis, so we called him – this was on a Saturday afternoon! He located the water heater model that we needed and was able to install it that evening, so we had hot water the first morning in our new home. Since then, we’ve had Travis install a garbage disposal, replace pull-down faucet cartridges and a frost-free hose bib, and perform other plumbing repairs. All work is performed skillfully and with great care, and with complete clean-up afterward. Travis always does his best to accommodate the customer’s scheduling needs whenever possible, and he he keeps his promises. He provides a one-year labor warranty, and his prices are reasonable. Give him a call for your plumbing work – you’ll be glad you did!
