Joel was very professional and thorough in his work. He was kind to explain the before and after PRV replacement installation. This issue occurred after SAWS installed electric water meter at my home.
I have used Tietze Plumbing for quite some time now and I am very happy with my experience. They always give you options on pricing and they are prompt. Additionally, they send a picture via text of the plumber that is headed your way so you know who to answer the door for.
Recently, Colby Briggs was our plumber to help replace a toilet that broke many months ago. He was very professional and friendly! I was presented with 5 options and I chose the one best suited for my budget. After my selection was made, he went to go get the toilet from the shop and came right back to get the job done (which all took about 3 hours in total).

We were very happy with our first service with Tietze Plumbing. Our technician, Rolando Pina, was very knowledgeable in his field and answered all of our questions…why, what ifs, how much, etc without hesitation. The company was also very accommodating when I called for an appointment. I was also impressed that they have 24/7 emergency service, have been in business for nearly 40 years, and that they offer an annual service contract for a reasonable charge. We don’t hesitate to recommend them for your plumbing needs.
Exceptional Service from first contact to job completion!! I called Tietze Plumbing Friday at 12:20, they put me on the schedule for the same day, Joshua my technician called me at 12:30 that he was on his way… Thats fast and efficient service. Joshua inspected and evaluated my water heater, and explained to me the possible problem and took time to give me options that were recommended. I didn’t feel pressured into making a decision on the spot. My technician Joshua illustrated great customer service , professionalism, knowledge, and honesty. Tietze is well represented by individuals like Joshua. I will definitely recommend Joshua and Tietze to all my friends and family.
We called Tietze because our bathtub faucet in our rental property was gushing water. My husband was able to turn off the water supply to the house for our tenants, but this meant they would be without water until a repair was made. I was told the technician would be to the house between 10-2, but they did not show up and I did not receive a call. I reached out and they explained they were running behind. I understand sometimes they get behind but a courtesy call or text would have been nice as the tenants had been without water since the night prior.
Once the technician came out he quickly found the issue which was the handle cartridge a part that cost $30. I understand there is also the factor of labor and other materials, but we were quoted $489 (with our military discount of 5% we ended up paying 464) even though the technician said “it’ll only take me about 10min once I come back with the part”. It indeed only took 10min to replace the cartridge. Again I understand trying to make money, but I feel they took advantage of the situation knowing it was an urgent matter because our renters could not turn the water back on until the part was replaced. After the fact I researched and found this repair is between $100-$300, depending on how difficult it is to access or remove. Again start to finish was 10min for the actual repair.
While the issue was resolved and the leak was fixed we were disappointed with the company taking advantage of the situation. Please do your research before accepting their quote. Also the receipt reflects we were offered a quote if we had the part and that price was $389.
